New Delhi buzzes with the vibrant spirit of Holi as Prime Minister Narendra Modi shares heartfelt greetings with the nation. In a warm message on social media platform X, PM Modi invoked the festival’s essence, wishing that the colors of happiness, prosperity, and success shower upon every citizen’s life.

‘Endless Holi greetings to all countrymen,’ PM Modi posted on Wednesday. ‘May this festival filled with colors and enthusiasm bring a shower of joy for everyone. I pray that the colors of happiness, prosperity, and success splash across every life.’

Highlighting the festival’s invigorating power, he added in another post, ‘Holi infuses new energy into the atmosphere. That’s its greatest charm. The way joy spreads everywhere fills everyone with exuberance and delight.’

Adding a cultural touch, PM Modi shared a Sanskrit subhashitam, painting a poetic picture of spring’s allure mirroring Holi’s celebrations. The verse describes blooming lotuses in gentle breezes, vibrant flowers, and resounding melodies awakening new life, much like the festival’s rejuvenating vibe.

President Droupadi Murmu also extended her wishes, emphasizing how Holi fosters love, hope, unity, and brotherhood. ‘May this festival bring happiness to all and inspire us to contribute to building a developed nation,’ she said.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar echoed similar sentiments, calling Holi a celebration of good over evil and the arrival of spring. He stressed its role in promoting brotherhood, mutual respect, and shared joy, urging collective efforts for a harmonious, inclusive, and developed India.

As India revels in Holi’s colors today, these messages from top leaders underscore the festival’s timeless message of renewal, unity, and optimism, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.
