New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt congratulations to the successful candidates of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, whose results were declared recently. In a series of posts on X, he praised their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and hard work that led them to this prestigious milestone.

Turning his attention to those who couldn’t secure the desired results, the Prime Minister offered words of encouragement. He acknowledged the difficulty of such moments but reminded them that this is just one step in life’s larger journey. ‘I understand such moments can be tough for those who didn’t get the desired result in the Civil Services Exam. However, this is just one step in a larger journey. There are many more opportunities ahead – in upcoming exams and the many other ways you can contribute to our nation. Best wishes for the journey ahead,’ he added.

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted annually by the Union Public Service Commission to recruit officers for India’s top administrative services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), among others. The rigorous selection process comprises a preliminary exam, a main written examination, and a personality test.

This year’s topper is Anuj Agnihotri, who secured All India Rank 1. Rajeshwari Suve M claimed AIR 2, while Delhi University B.Com graduate Aakansha Dhull grabbed the third position. These young achievers now embark on a path to shape India’s future through public service.

PM Modi’s message resonates widely, inspiring not just the toppers but also countless aspirants who view the civil services as a noble calling. His encouragement underscores the government’s commitment to nurturing talent and resilience among the youth.
