An Air India Express flight from Jaipur to Dubai became a source of misery for passengers, according to a viral video posted by Jaipur resident Aarzoo Sethi. Sethi, a dietitian and nutrition consultant, detailed a situation where passengers remained on board Flight IX196 for over five hours with no air conditioning. She reported a complete lack of communication or assistance from the flight crew during this extended period.

The video showcased passengers visibly struggling with the heat, wiping sweat, and seeking help, to no avail. Sethi highlighted the suffering of her young son, who was also visibly affected by the conditions. The Instagram post captured the frustration of the passengers.

Sethi’s criticism extended to the airline’s silence. She questioned the lack of updates and crew responsiveness, stating “Where is the basic communication? Where is the accountability?” In her video, she described being stranded for five hours without AC or assistance. She called it a “serious safety lapse.”

Air India Express has not yet issued a public statement about the incident.
