    The Monsoon Session of Parliament will commence on July 21, 2025, and conclude on August 21, 2025, featuring a total of 21 sittings. The session will be spread over 32 days. Before the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the media. The government intends to introduce and pass several significant bills. These include amendments to the Lok Sabha Manipur Goods and Services Tax, Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, Indian Institutes of Management (Amendment) Bill, Taxation Laws (Amendment) Bill, Geo-Heritage Sites and Geo-Relics (Conservation and Maintenance) Bill, Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill, National Sports Governance Bill, and National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill. Kiren Rijiju stated that the government is prepared to discuss any other important issue. The Opposition has requested discussions on various topics including the Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindoor, Bihar Special Intensive Revision (SIR), and the Air India (AI) 171 crash.
