An anti-terror operation in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir led to a paratrooper being injured during a fierce exchange of fire with militants. The incident unfolded in the Chhatru area on Wednesday. The joint operation, involving the Indian Army and local police, was launched after receiving precise information regarding terrorist movements. The operation started in the early morning hours. As the security forces advanced towards the suspected militant location, they were met with intense gunfire from the terrorists, sparking a significant gunfight. The injured paratrooper was swiftly transported by air to a hospital in Udhampur for necessary medical intervention.
