New Delhi buzzes with the vibrant spirit of Holi as the festival of colors kicks off across India. Streets are alive with laughter, music, and splashes of gulal, uniting families and friends in celebration. In a show of unity amid political divides, key opposition figures from Congress, TMC, BSP, RJD, and AAP have extended warm Holi wishes to the nation, emphasizing themes of love, harmony, and brotherhood.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra lit up social media with her heartfelt message on X, capturing the essence of the festival. ‘May this Holi, filled with excitement, joy, sweetness, and the colors of brotherhood, bring everyone together,’ she wrote, urging people to embrace family, friends, and society with open arms and share happiness with all.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee kept it concise yet joyful: ‘Holi greetings to all. May this sacred festival of colors fill every home with happiness and vibrancy.’ Her words resonated with millions celebrating in the east.

BSP supremo Mayawati stressed tradition and peace in her greetings. ‘Heartiest Holi wishes to all countrymen. Celebrate this festival with enthusiasm, peace, and harmony, sharing joys with each other – that’s the true spirit,’ she posted, calling for unity.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav offered profound reflections, drawing from life’s lessons. He spoke of humanity as the truest color, pledging service and commitment to inclusivity. ‘Let this Holi rain colors of happiness in your homes, service and harmony in society,’ he added, invoking dreams of brotherhood and prosperity.

Bihar Opposition Leader Tejashwi Yadav highlighted humanity’s deepest hue. ‘As we apply gulal, let’s erase heart’s distances, wash away malice, fill hatred with love, and demolish walls of discrimination with brotherhood,’ he urged, wishing eternal peace and unity for Bihar and the nation.

AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal wished for joy, love, and new energy, hoping lives brim with happiness, peace, and prosperity. SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav also joined in, sending festive cheers.

As India revels in Holi’s rainbow spectacle, these messages from opposition stalwarts remind us of the festival’s core: bridging divides through shared colors of joy.
