Azamgarh, February 22 – In a sharp critique of the Congress party, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) national president and Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar praised the NDA government’s development initiatives while accusing leaders like Rahul Gandhi of damaging India’s global reputation.

Speaking exclusively to IANS, Rajbhar highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s clear vision to integrate every village, state, and citizen into the mainstream of development. ‘The Prime Minister is absolutely right—people want progress for their villages, states, and the nation,’ he asserted. From Delhi to Lucknow, the NDA governments are working tirelessly to usher in prosperity for all.

Rajbhar pointed to recent welfare measures in Uttar Pradesh, such as increasing the honorarium for education friends from Rs 10,000 to Rs 18,000. Similar attention is being given to contract workers, ensuring benefits reach poor and middle-class families directly.

Emphasizing youth employment, he said the PM’s vision ensures dignified jobs and self-reliance. In UP alone, lakhs of youths have secured government positions in recent years, with skill development programs and startup incentives gaining momentum.

Turning to the opposition, Rajbhar lambasted Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi for badmouthing India during foreign visits. ‘They tarnish the country’s image worldwide, exposing their party’s flawed mindset,’ he remarked.

On election preparations, Rajbhar noted ongoing public registration and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drives. Voter slips have been dispatched, lists will be published by April 15, and elections will proceed transparently under the Election Commission’s watchful eye.

He touted flagship schemes like PMAY, Ujjwala, Ayushman Bharat, and PM-KISAN, which have transformed millions of lives. In contrast, he accused the Congress and INDIA alliance of empty opposition without a constructive development agenda.
