The National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NIT Rourkela) marked its 22nd Convocation with a ceremony honoring 2065 graduates. Shri Uday A. Kaole, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, graced the event as Chief Guest. The ceremony featured the awarding of degrees, including Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, and recognized academic excellence with medals and awards. In line with the Digital India vision, NIT Rourkela will offer DigiLocker access to all graduating students. The event also highlighted the graduation of 93 international students. The institute also conferred Distinguished Alumnus Awards to four accomplished alumni. NIT Rourkela’s Director emphasized the institute’s commitment to preparing graduates for the evolving global landscape through innovative programs and international collaborations.
