    Delhi Police reported that an 18-month-old child was injured in an accident involving an Audi car and a bike in the Nizamuddin area. The child was injured. The toddler was subsequently admitted to the AIIMS trauma center for treatment. Law enforcement has initiated an investigation into the incident. In a separate development, an Extradition court in New Delhi has ruled in favor of extraditing a fugitive criminal to the United Kingdom to face charges related to sexual assault. The individual had fled the UK and was apprehended in Kochi before being brought to Delhi. He consented to extradition. The court order, passed by ACJM Pranav Joshi, pertains to the extradition of Naijil Pau, a dual citizen of India and the UK. The court has directed that Naijil Paul remain in judicial custody at Tihar Jail until extradition formalities are concluded and that he be produced before the relevant court every seven days via video conference.
