Patna witnessed a profound spiritual culmination on Thursday as the 24-hour Ashtayam program, organized by the Shree Shree Ramnavami Shobhayatra Abhinandan Samiti, reached its finale at BJP National President Nitin Nabin’s official residence on Tailor Road. This event marked the second anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha of Shree Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, filling the air with unwavering devotion.
Prominent figures including BJP State President Sanjay Sarawgi, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha, MP Shahnawaz Hussain, Ministers Dr. Dilip Jaiswal and Sanjay Tiger, along with MLA Jivesh Mishra, graced the occasion. The continuous Ramdhun chants transformed the atmosphere into a divine realm, captivating hundreds of devotees who participated with fervor.
Commencing on the morning of January 21, the non-stop recitation concluded in the afternoon of January 22 with a majestic Havan and Aarti. MLA Jivesh Mishra joined scores of attendees in this sacred ritual, as chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ echoed triumphantly.
Key organizers such as Samiti President Sardar Jagjivan Singh Bablu, Rajesh Jain, Gopal Krishna, Sujoy Saurabh, Nitin Abhishek, Mukesh Jain, Akshay, Pramod Singh, and Kumar Raghavendra were present, ensuring seamless execution. The event underscored the historic significance of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya after centuries of struggle, celebrated as an annual festival of faith.
Samiti President Jagjivan Singh Bablu emphasized how the relentless 24-hour Ramdhun instills renewed religious consciousness among participants. A lavish langar was arranged, complemented by enchanting bhajans and orchestral performances, allowing devotees to immerse fully in the festivities.
