The Bihar government has sanctioned funds for a new youth internship program under the ‘7 Nischay-2’ initiative, as confirmed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The scheme, titled ‘Chief Minister-Promotion of Readiness, Awareness and Technical Insights for Guiding Youth Advancement’, aims to improve skills, employability, and leadership qualities among the youth of Bihar. Approximately one lakh young people from the state are expected to participate in internships between 2025 and 2031. Financial support for the interns will be provided: ₹4,000 for those who have passed 12th grade, ₹5,000 for ITI or diploma holders, and ₹6,000 for graduates and postgraduates. Concurrently, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has voiced concerns about the ECI’s handling of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, claiming it is unfair and could affect the election. He also fears the possibility of President’s rule being implemented.
