The Agra-Aligarh Expressway, a 65-kilometer project, is poised to drastically reduce travel time between the two cities to a mere one hour. The Greenfield Expressway, part of the Bharat Mala project, will serve as a crucial link, boosting regional connectivity. The total cost of construction is estimated at Rs 1536.9 crore. The project involves acquiring 322 hectares of land across 48 villages in Hathras, with approximately 50% of the farmers already compensated. The first phase will connect National Highway 509 in Aligarh to Asroi village near Hathras. The second phase will connect Khandauli in Agra to Asroi in Hathras and connect with the Yamuna Expressway.
