    Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday expressed his deep concern over the escalating violence in Nepal. He termed the protests as ‘heart-wrenching’ in a statement released on social media. After returning from a trip, a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security was convened to discuss the situation in Nepal. The Prime Minister voiced his anguish regarding the loss of life. He then appealed for peace. On X, PM Modi emphasized the importance of Nepal’s stability, peace, and prosperity, and he urged all citizens to maintain order.
