    New Delhi witnessed a significant gathering of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary party on Tuesday, as leaders convened to deliberate on the Union Budget 2026 and the ambitious vision for a Developed India by 2047. The meeting, held at the Parliament Library Building, drew top brass including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister JP Nadda, and newly elected BJP President Nitin Navin.

    Upon arrival, Prime Minister Modi received resounding applause and congratulations from fellow MPs for the recent India-US trade agreement, sealed just a day earlier following a telephonic conversation with US President Donald Trump. This marks India’s second major trade pact in the last ten days, underscoring the government’s aggressive push for economic partnerships.

    NDA leaders extended hearty felicitations to PM Modi for this string of successful trade negotiations, highlighting the momentum in India’s global economic diplomacy. The warm welcome for Nitin Navin, the fresh face at the helm of BJP, added to the upbeat atmosphere.

    Prime Minister Modi is slated to address the assembly, outlining key strategies ahead. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will deliver a detailed presentation on the budget’s highlights, emphasizing how it paves the way for Viksit Bharat by 2047. The session will also roll out guidelines for MPs to communicate the budget’s benefits to constituents, coupled with a comprehensive roadmap for implementation.

    Sitharaman presented her ninth Union Budget on Sunday, inspired by three core duties: enhancing competition, fulfilling aspirations, and ensuring equitable access to resources for every family, community, and region. This framework aims to sustain and accelerate economic growth.

    PM Modi praised the budget as a ‘highway of unprecedented opportunities,’ injecting fresh energy into India’s reform express. As the nation eyes long-term prosperity, this meeting signals unified resolve within the NDA to champion these transformative initiatives.
