The area remains secured as forensic teams meticulously examine the debris, which included significant vehicle components like the steering wheel, found scattered over a wide radius.
Investigators have named Dr. Mohammad Umar as the main suspect. He is believed to be a terrorist linked to the Faridabad module and was previously at large. Reports suggest Umar and two accomplices may have acted hastily following arrests in Faridabad. The blast was caused by a powerful ANFO explosive. Surveillance footage indicates the Hyundai i20 vehicle was parked strategically near the Sunehri Masjid for approximately three hours before its detonation at the Subhash Marg traffic light.
