Navi Mumbai Teacher Faces Arrest for Alleged Semi-Nude Video Calls with Student, POCSO Act Applied

A Navi Mumbai teacher is in custody after being arrested for reportedly making a semi-nude video call to one of her minor students. Following a complaint filed by the boy’s father, police booked the 35-year-old teacher under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. According to the police, the teacher had been sending the student obscene messages over social media, which then escalated into video calls.
