Rampur, Feb 2: BJP stalwart Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has showered praise on the Modi government’s latest Union Budget, calling it a steadfast commitment to inclusive development and all-encompassing empowerment.

In an exclusive conversation, Naqvi described the budget as the official gazette embodying ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’s’ resounding call, firmly underscoring the resolve to realize ‘Viksit Bharat’s’ extraordinary potential. ‘This isn’t a hasty patchwork of quick fixes and chaotic tinkering,’ he emphasized. ‘It’s a document brimming with development and trust.’

Despite global economic headwinds and recessionary pressures, Naqvi credited Prime Minister Modi’s governance for sustaining India’s robust trajectory. The budget, he said, serves as a roadmap to fortify the economy amid external turbulence and internal challenges, instilling confidence and stability.

Targeting budget critics, Naqvi asserted their real discomfort stems not from the fiscal plan but from Modi’s transformative leadership, which has disrupted opposition politics. ‘When the government speaks of farmers, workers, youth, and women, it’s addressing the aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians,’ he noted. A close examination reveals the budget’s design to integrate every societal segment into the mainstream of progress.

Naqvi also addressed Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut’s controversial remarks alleging BJP involvement in Ajit Pawar’s demise, pointing out that Sharad Pawar himself rebuked such politicization. On the Uttar Pradesh government’s SIT probe into foreign funding of madrasas, he stressed the need to curb mismanagement in educational institutions, ensuring they never become hubs for terrorism or separatism. Vigilant government action is imperative, he added.
