Manoj Jarange, a key activist advocating for Maratha reservation, is set to travel to Mumbai today to recommence his hunger strike in support of the Maratha community’s demand for reservation. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence is scheduled to visit the Andaman Islands today. Lawyers will continue their protest for the fifth day, objecting to the Delhi Lieutenant Governor’s order issued on August 13th. Due to adverse weather conditions, the recruitment process for constable positions in the Jammu division has been postponed. All schools in Jammu, both government and private, are closed, and schools in Punjab will remain closed from August 27th to 30th. Keep informed with the latest national and international updates.
