The monsoon season in India has unleashed its destructive force, with heavy rainfall causing widespread flooding and damage across multiple states. Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan have been particularly affected, with reports of overflowing rivers, submerged structures, and vehicles caught in floodwaters.

In Jharkhand, the Koyal River’s rising waters washed away essential construction materials, resulting in substantial financial setbacks. The flooding in Nashik, Maharashtra, caused the Godavari River to overflow its banks, submerging temples and affecting religious sites. Video footage shows the severity of the inundation.

Rajasthan’s Banswara district witnessed a tragic incident where a tractor was swept away by floodwaters on a low-lying bridge. The driver is currently unaccounted for. These incidents highlight the urgent need for effective flood management and preparedness during the monsoon season.
