The Parliament’s Monsoon Session will see continued debate on Operation Sindoor in the Rajya Sabha. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Leader of the House JP Nadda are scheduled to speak. Jaishankar will speak at 1 pm, and Nadda at 3 pm, with Home Minister Amit Shah expected to conclude the discussion. The debate started in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, following discussions in the Lok Sabha on Monday. Operation Sindoor was launched in reaction to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. In earlier Lok Sabha sessions, Jaishankar and Shah addressed the issue, focusing on India’s diplomatic actions and critiquing the Opposition.
