Home Minister Amit Shah highlighted the significant achievements of the Modi government, stating a 75% decrease in violence in key regions like Jammu and Kashmir, the Northeast, and Naxal-affected areas during the last 10 years. He credited this improvement to the government’s strong leadership and zero-tolerance stance on terrorism and extremism. Shah pointed to surgical strikes and Operation Sindoor as examples. He further stated that the government is aiming to completely eliminate Naxalism by the year 2026. The Home Minister also stated the intention to remove Left-wing extremism by March 2026.
