Prime Minister Narendra Modi has voiced his approval of the release of all Israeli hostages from Hamas, celebrating their freedom as a testament to resilience and strategic diplomacy. Acknowledging the significant role of former US President Donald Trump, Modi stated on X that their liberation underscores the “unwavering peace efforts” led by Trump, alongside the strength of the hostages’ families and Prime Minister Netanyahu’s resolve. Modi further conveyed his endorsement of President Trump’s commitment to achieving regional peace. The successful hostage recovery is a direct outcome of Trump’s proposed Gaza peace plan, which seeks to resolve the ongoing conflict via a staged ceasefire and humanitarian pacts. During his visit, Trump was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister Netanyahu in the Knesset. Netanyahu publicly thanked the US President for his “pivotal leadership” in concluding the war and meeting all its objectives, highlighting the global consensus behind Trump’s peace proposal that ensured the return of all hostages.
