In a shocking revelation from Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur district, a local gym has been exposed as a front for heinous crimes including forced religious conversions, sexual exploitation, and extortion. Police swiftly arrested four suspects, including the gym owner, and sealed four branches of the facility amid ongoing investigations.
The scandal unfolded at the KGN Gym in Sadar Tehsil Colony, where two brave women came forward with harrowing accounts. They alleged that gym trainers lured them with promises of friendship, only to trap them in a web of deceit. Once ensnared, the women faced relentless pressure to convert their faith, endured repeated sexual assaults, and were blackmailed with illicit videos for money.
Acting on the complaints, authorities registered an FIR against seven individuals under serious charges. The gym, operational for over a decade with multiple outlets, had long raised suspicions among local vigilante groups. Hindu Jagran Manch coordinator Keshavwani claimed intelligence on ‘love jihad’ activities predated the arrests, with victim families now demanding justice.
The property owner, Ajay Kumar Dubey, distanced himself, stating he rented the space to Imran Khan unaware of the atrocities. He vowed to evict the tenant if allegations hold true. Meanwhile, BJP OBC Morcha leader Kamlesh Maurya highlighted that most victims were Hindu women, pointing to a pattern of targeted conversions in recent months.
City SP Nitesh Singh confirmed the arrests of Mohammad Sheikh Ali, Faisal Khan, Zaheer, and Sadab, all now in custody. With the net widening, police assure thorough probes and imminent action against remaining fugitives. This case underscores the dark underbelly of seemingly innocuous fitness centers and the urgent need for vigilance against predatory networks.
