BJP MP Kangana Ranaut shared her strong feelings about the Meghalaya honeymoon murder case on Instagram. She called the case involving Raja Raghuvanshi’s murder ‘absurd’. Kangana questioned the actions of the accused, Sonam Raghuvanshi, stating, “Woman can’t say no to marriage because she is scared of her own parents but she can plan a cold-blooded murder with supari killers.” She further expressed her confusion, and her opinions on Sonam’s actions. Kangana emphasized that “Dumb people should never be taken lightly.”
Sonam is the key suspect in the murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi. His body was recovered near the Weisawdong waterfalls. Following her disappearance, she was found and arrested in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Several other suspects, including Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, Raj Singh Kushwaha, and Anand, have also been arrested. Sonam Raghuvanshi’s father has refuted the allegations and called for a CBI probe. Sonam was brought before a local court in Ghazipur for transit remand.
