A controversial video capturing an alleged road rage incident involving BJP leader Vikul Chaprana in Meerut has been shared widely, prompting accusations of misconduct. The video shows Chaprana and his companions confronting two individuals, with allegations of threats and car damage. One of the individuals involved has been identified as Satyam Rastogi, and reports suggest he was forced to perform a degrading act.

Political figures have amplified the video, linking it to broader issues of governance and power abuse within the ruling party. However, local shopkeepers who observed the incident have offered a significantly different account. These eyewitnesses claim that Satyam Rastogi, who was reportedly intoxicated, initiated the conflict by verbally assaulting Chaprana and threatening to ram his car.

The police have verified the incident occurred on October 19 in the Tejgarhi locality. Their preliminary assessment indicates that the altercation stemmed from a dispute over vehicle parking. The matter is under active investigation following a complaint filed by Satyam Rastogi’s brother, Aditya Rastogi.
