The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has voiced its strong condemnation of the arrests of Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan and other individuals. The board has decided to postpone the nationwide strike, Bharat Bandh, which was originally scheduled for October 3rd. A new date for the strike will be announced shortly by the board. The decision to postpone the strike was made during an emergency meeting due to the overlap of festivals in various states on the initially planned date.

In a notice, the AIMPLB clarified that the protest movement against the Waqf Amendment Act will persist, and all other programs will continue according to the previously established dates.
