    Prime Minister Narendra Modi is preparing to visit Manipur this Saturday, September 13th, a significant visit given the state’s recent history. This marks his first trip to the state since the violent clashes between the Kuki and Meitei communities in 2023. The visit is highlighted by the launch of development projects, with an estimated value of over Rs 7,300 crore in Churachandpur and more than Rs 1,200 crore in Imphal. PM Modi will be in Aizwal, then proceed to Churachandpur’s Peace Ground and Imphal’s Kangla Ground. The trip will conclude in Guwahati, where he will take part in the celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.
