From August 25th to August 31st, 2025, a joint operation involving the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and Manipur Police was conducted across various districts in Manipur, targeting militant activities. The operations spanned across Jiribam, Churachandpur, Bishnupur, Kakching, Tamenglong, Kangpokpi, Imphal West, and Imphal East. During these operations, three militants were arrested, and a large assortment of weapons, including 53 firearms and 7 IEDs, along with drugs worth around 10 lakh rupees, were recovered. The Assam Rifles seized 1200 WY tablets in Churachandpur district. Recoveries also included weapons like AK-47s, INSAS rifles, and mortars.
