Suvendu Adhikari, a BJP MLA, has criticized Mamata Banerjee’s recent ‘Bhasha Aandolan,’ claiming it’s a strategy to prevent the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. Adhikari stated that the Chief Minister’s actions are a performance, intended to stop the electoral process. Adhikari went on to claim that Banerjee is protecting Bangladeshi Muslims and relies on a vote bank composed of infiltrators, Bangladeshis, and Rohingyas. Banerjee had previously criticized the Election Commission of India for removing names from the voter list in Bihar and expressed fears of the same in West Bengal.
