Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena is initiating a statewide protest across Maharashtra starting tomorrow. The central issue of the protest is the demand to repeal the Jan Suraksha Kanoon. The party plans to organize demonstrations at the district level to amplify their concerns.
Prominent leaders such as Aditya Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray, and Sachin Ahir are slated to participate in the agitation. The bill, which was passed in the Maharashtra Assembly, faced strong opposition from the Shiv Sena (UBT). The main protest will be held at the Shivaji Park, near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue.
