Maharashtra: MLA Amol Khathal Attacked at Festival in Sangamner

Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) MLA Amol Khathal was the target of an attack in Sangamner, located in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The incident unfolded at a festival opening in Sangamner. A young man approached the MLA, feigning a handshake, before attempting to assault him. Security personnel swiftly intervened, apprehending the attacker and handing him over to the police. The incident prompted a gathering of Amol Khathal’s supporters outside the venue. The police have since increased security throughout the city as a precautionary measure.
