AKOLA: Amid the hijab row in Karnataka and a few different portions of the rustic, a 60-year-old guy used to be held in Akola in Maharashtra for allegedly threatening a lady and her daughter not to put on burkhas, police mentioned on Saturday.

“The person requested a lady and her daughter not to put on burkhas. He extensively utilized abusive language. The incident took place on Friday night time and he used to be taken into custody a while later underneath IPC and POCSO Act provisions,” Inspector Balapur Bhaurao Ghuge advised PTI.
He has been remanded in judicial custody, the respectable added.
