Maha: Training officer held for taking bribe from trainer in Palghar

PALGHAR: The Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested a 50-year-old girl schooling officer (number one phase) for allegedly taking bribe from a faculty trainer right here in Maharashtra, the ACB stated on Tuesday.

The accused, Lata Sakharam Sanap, had demanded Rs 50,000 from the trainer for facilitating his posting at a faculty in Vasai the city.

Later, the deal was once finalised at Rs 25,000, Deputy Superintendent of Police (ACB- Palghar) Navnath Jagtap stated.

The aggrieved trainer lodged a grievance with the ACB which stuck the accused whilst accepting the bribe quantity of Rs 25,000 on Monday, the legit stated.

A case was once registered in opposition to the accused below provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, he added.
