NPR, Gwalior/Bhitarwar. 35-year-old Neetu, wife of Kamal Singh Rawat, living in Gadotha village of Belgarh, committed suicide by shooting herself with her father-in-law’s licensed gun. Neetu took this step at around 1 o’clock in the night, when everyone present in the house slept. He died on the spot. Regarding the reason, police have come to know that there used to be frequent fights between Neetu and Kamal. Police have registered death

There was a fight between Neetu and her husband Kamal yesterday also. Suddenly at around one o’clock in the night the sound of gunshot was heard. When the relatives came running, they saw that Neetu was lying soaked in blood near the door. Police reached here in the night itself. The body was sent to the post mortem house. The statement of the deceased’s maternal family has not been received yet.

Four children cried after seeing their mother’s dead body

Neetu has four children, three daughters and a son. Seeing the dead body of their mother, all four children started crying. Relatives took care of them. The barrel was placed on the stomach, the trigger was pressed with the foot: When the forensic expert investigated, it came to light that the bullet was fired by placing the barrel of the gun on the stomach. Pressed the trigger with the foot. The bullet pierced the stomach and came out.

Beautification work will be done on Veerpur Dam with a cost of Rs 5 crore.

Due to monsoon being kind to the city, Veerpur Dam also became full after years. In such a situation, efforts have been made again for its beautification. The Municipal Corporation has prepared a proposal for beautification works, greenery, construction of pathways etc. at a cost of Rs 5 crore and sent it to the government. In this, consent has also been taken from the Water Resources Department, so that the work of beautifying it can be done with coordination.

Due to this, on Sunday, Municipal Corporation officials including Superintending Engineer of Water Resources Department Rajesh Chaturvedi inspected the dam. Here the officials made maps etc. on the spot and discussed that along with increasing the greenery, the possibilities of tourism on the dam should also be seen. It is expected that approval will soon be obtained from the government level also. It is noteworthy that Smart City Corporation had also done beautification work here in the past and now the Municipal Corporation will expand it further.
