The police recovered the body of five-year-old Shrishti Bhalase, who mysteriously went missing from in front of her house at 12 noon on Tuesday from Vajpayee Nagar Multi in Shahjahanabad area in the old city, on Thursday. In search of the girl, a whole police company (a team of about 100 people) searched every nook and corner of Vajpayee Nagar. The help of dog squad and drone was also taken. Her body was found in the water tank of a closed flat in Block No. 1 of the same multi-storey building from which the girl had disappeared. The body of the girl has been taken to AIIMS for post-mortem. The police have detained three suspects in this case.
people’s anger erupted
As soon as the dead body of the girl was found, the family members started crying. On the other hand, the angry crowd of Vajpayee Nagar Multi came out on the road, shouted slogans and blocked the TB Hospital Road. The angry people surrounded the Shahjahanabad police station. People are demanding that the accused responsible for the death of the children should be hanged.
The family moved into the flat six months ago
The police have arrested the accused youth Atul, his mother and sister in this case. The accused had hidden the body of the girl in the water tank in the second room of the flat. This family had come to live in the flat on rent only six months ago. The wife of the accused youth had gone to her maternal home a month ago.
The accused is unemployed. His sister and mother go to work. He is alone at home during the day. It is suspected that he might have lured the minor to his house on Tuesday afternoon.

Shrishti, daughter of Subhash Bhalase, a resident of Vajpayee Nagar, went missing from near her house at 12 noon on Tuesday. When she was not found even after searching in the surrounding area, a complaint was lodged at Shahjahanabad police station at 2:30 pm on the same day.

On Wednesday, the entire police company intensively questioned the owners of the vehicles that reached the area before and after the girl’s disappearance, based on their vehicle numbers. CCTV footage from the entire area was also examined. The help of dog squad and drones was also taken in the search operation.
