State Bureau, Naiduniya: Bhopal: This year, the pilgrimage under the Tirtha Darshan Yojana is going to start from September 14 in the state. In this, the senior citizens of the state will be provided free travel by the government to various religious places of the country till February 26, 2025. More than 15 thousand devotees are being identified for this.

Tour of Rameswaram, Mathura-Vrindavan, Kamakhya, Amritsar

The Religious Trust and Endowments Department has released the program of the pilgrimage. This time, under the Tirtha Darshan Yojana, pilgrimages will be organised to religious places like Varanasi (Kashi), Rameshwaram, Mathura-Vrindavan, Kamakhya, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Dwarka, Jagannathpuri, Shirdi and Nagpur. The benefit of the scheme will be given to such senior citizens of the state who are not income tax payers and are 60 years or more in age.

Women pilgrims have been given a relaxation of two years in the minimum age. In the Yatra, a total of 20 trains will start from different places and will reach the religious place carrying passengers from two to three districts.

The itinerary of the pilgrimage is as follows

On September 14, it will go from Ujjain to Varanasi (Kashi), Ayodhya and will return on September 19. It will leave for Rameswaram on September 21 and will return on 26. On September 19, the train will leave from Meghnagar for Mathura-Vrindavan and will return on October 2. On October 13, it will go from Ujjain to Kamakhya and will return on October 18. On October 21, it will leave from Indore to Amritsar and will return on October 24. On November 5, it will leave for Varanasi (Kashi)-Ayodhya pilgrimage site and will return on November 10. On November 13, it will leave from Bhopal for Rameswaram and will return on November 18. On November 21, the eighth train will leave from Rewa for Dwarka and will return on November 26. On November 29, the train will go to Varanasi (Kashi)-Ayodhya and will return on December 4. On December 7, the train will leave from Katni for Dwarka and will return on December 12.

On December 15, a train will leave from Satna for Rameswaram and will return on December 30. On December 23, a train will leave from Jagannathpuri Khandwa and will return on December 28. On December 31, a train will leave from Betul for Kamakhya and will return on January 5. On January 8, a train will leave for Varanasi (Kashi)- Ayodhya and will return on January 13. On January 16, a train will leave from Chhindwara for Rameswaram and will return on January 21. On January 24, a train will start from Anuppur for Varanasi (Kashi)- Ayodhya and will return on January 29. On February 01, a train will leave from Umaria for Shirdi and will return on February 4. On February 7, a journey will start from Morena for Rameswaram and will return on February 12. On February 15, the journey will go from Chhatarpur to Dwarka and will return on 20. On February 23, a train will leave from Bhind for Nagpur and will return on 26.
