Sarvapitri Moksha Amavasya: Vehicular traffic will remain closed from Handia Narmada Bridge for twenty hours, know the alternative route plan here

Traffic police issued divert route plan for drivers. Parking arrangements for vehicles have been made for the convenience of the devotees. Police will be deployed at major intersections, roads and parking lots.

Navdunia Representative, Harda. On Wednesday, October 2, on the occasion of Sarva Pitru Moksha Amavasya, a large number of devotees will reach Handiya and Nemavar Ghats of Narmada for bathing. For the safety of devotees and to maintain smooth traffic on the Indore-Betul National Highway, vehicular traffic will remain closed from the Narmada Bridge at Handia for twenty hours. Vehicles will be stopped at Handiya and Nemawar on both sides of the Narmada bridge. The route of vehicles has been changed from 6 pm on October 1 to 2 pm on October 2.

According to the new route, the drivers coming from Khandwa will have to go towards Indore from Khandwa Bypass Hanuman Chouraha in Harda via Police Line, Chhoti Harda Four Lane Under Bridge, Chhipaner Road Over Bridge via Chhipaner and reach Bherunda (Nasrullaganj). From there you will have to reach Sandalpur Phata. Similarly, the drivers going towards Indore from Betul, Narmadapuram and Timarni will have to go from four lane over bridge near Uda under Chhipaner Road Over Bridge via Chhipaner from Bherunda (Nasrullahganj) to Sandalpur Phata.

Harda traffic station in-charge Sandeep Sunesh said that the route has been diverted to ensure smooth traffic flow. Besides, parking arrangements for vehicles have been made in Handia for the convenience of the devotees coming to take bath in Narmada. Traffic police have been deployed at major intersections, routes and parking lots so that traffic can be controlled.
