Naiduniya representative, Guna: In Dungasara village of Myana police station area of the district, six armed miscreants held mother-in-law and daughter-in-law hostage and carried out a robbery of about 15 lakhs in the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. They broke the locker of the cupboard and fled with gold-silver jewellery and cash. However, the total theft amounted to three lakh rupees in the police FIR.
Victim Sarojbai Sharma said that on Tuesday night, after having dinner, she and her mother-in-law Kamalabai Sharma went to sleep. Four miscreants came at night and gagged her mouth. When she screamed, they said- keep quiet or else we will kill you. Along with this, they put a knife in her mouth and stuffed a cloth in her mouth and tied her hands and legs. While her mother-in-law was thrown down from the bed.

After tying the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, they broke the lock of the cupboard and ran away with gold and silver and cash. After this, the neighbors woke up on hearing the screams, who informed the victim’s husband, Assistant Pravachak Mahesh Sharma posted in Guna Tehsil Office, over the phone.
Mahesh Sharma said that six miscreants came on two motorcycles. Two of them stood outside the house with the bikes running, while four went inside. They also had guns and country-made pistols in their hands. They held his wife and mother hostage.
