Victim Sarojbai Sharma said that on Tuesday night, after having dinner, she and her mother-in-law Kamalabai Sharma went to sleep. Four miscreants came at night and gagged her mouth. When she screamed, they said- keep quiet or else we will kill you. Along with this, they put a knife in her mouth and stuffed a cloth in her mouth and tied her hands and legs. While her mother-in-law was thrown down from the bed.

Mahesh Sharma said that six miscreants came on two motorcycles. Two of them stood outside the house with the bikes running, while four went inside. They also had guns and country-made pistols in their hands. They held his wife and mother hostage.
