There is a long weekend along with the holiday on 15 August and people were making preparations for travelling on the festival of Rakshabandhan which is celebrated on 19 August along with the long holiday.

Train number 18237 Korba-Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express has been cancelled from August 4 to 9 and August 15. Train number 18238 Amritsar-Bilaspur Chhattisgarh Express has been cancelled from August 6 to 11 and August 17. Train number 12409 Raigarh-Hazrat Nizamuddin Gondwana Express has been cancelled from August 14 to 17 and August 19. Train number 12410 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Raigarh Gondwana Express has been cancelled from August 12 to 15 and August 17.
Samta Express will operate via a changed route
Train no. 12807 Visakhapatnam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Samta Express will be operated via Vijayawada-Balharshah and Nagpur instead of Visakhapatnam-Raipur-Nagpur on August 6, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 18. Similarly, train no. 12808 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Samta Express will be operated via Nagpur-Balharshah and Vijayawada instead of Nagpur-Raipur-Visakhapatnam on August 8, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17 and 20.
