There is a possibility of an investment of Rs 2570 crore in Gwalior-Chambal region, which can generate 4550 jobs.

Balram Soni/Varun Sharma Gwalior. Naiduniya This is Gwalior’s claim, you should come to Chambal without any fear for investment…your progress is 100 percent guaranteed. There is not one but many solid reasons behind this claim. First of all, if we talk about connectivity, then in Gwalior region, you will not get better options than road, rail and air services not only in the state but also in the surrounding states. Delhi NCR is at its peak in terms of industry and business.

There is a fight for land there. Whereas 2500 hectares of land is waiting for you in the land bank of this region of eastern Madhya Pradesh. Workers are most important for the continuous smoke coming out of the chimneys of the industry and the noise of the machines to keep resonating. So let us tell you, lakhs of workers of Bhind-Morena and Bundelkhand are equally participating in the progress by sweating in factories running in every corner of the country.

Security and electricity and water are also important for the growth of your industries. In terms of security, this region is safer than other parts of the state and the country. There is neither any organized crime here nor is there any ravine like situation. The government is determined to ensure availability of electricity and water. Therefore, there cannot be a better option than this for investment.

These are the bases on which the business will flourish

Connectivity: Connected to six road corridors, better train and air services. Recently, the biggest airport of Madhya Pradesh has been built here, which is worth 500 crores. There is also cargo. There are air services to major cities. From the country’s capital Delhi to the state capital Bhopal or Indore, whichever city you see, we are in a strong position in rail traffic. Gwalior is the strongest in rail network. There are many trains including Rajdhani to reach Delhi in three hours and to big cities of the country. There is also a railway industrial corridor track here. There are direct trains to all the cities of the state. Regarding road route, Gwalior is well connected to Delhi, Mumbai route and Malwa-Bundelkhand in a planned manner. It is connected to Atal Progress Way at a distance of 85 km from Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is at a distance of 500 km from Gwalior, Agra-Jaipur Expressway is at a distance of 82 km from Chambal, Agra Kanpur Expressway is also just 80 km away.

Man Power: Cheap labour from Bundelkhand along with Bhind-Morena

There is no shortage of cheap manpower in the Gwalior-Chambal region. The districts around Gwalior like Bhind, Morena, Shivpuri where the working class is connected to Gwalior, also the gateway of Bundelkhand, Datia is close to Gwalior where workers from Chhatarpur-Tikamgarh go to work in the country and the world. In this way, there is no possibility of any shortage of manpower for the existing and new industrial units in the Gwalior-Chambal region.

Industry land: Plenty of land waiting for investment

2500 acres of land in Gwalior-Chambal region is waiting for investment. 1200 hectares more land has been identified in SADA area. There is a land bank of 210 hectares in the proposed industrial area Mawai, 200 hectares in Mohana, 30 hectares in Gurwal and 337 hectares in Chainpura. Possibilities are also being created in new areas.

Security environment: Rugged terrain is now a thing of the past

Gwalior Chambal, which was notorious for dacoits and guns, has now got an image of better prospects and investment. From infrastructure based development to every sector in Gwalior-Chambal, there have been major changes in the last few years. There is no organized crime here now. More than 400 industrial units are operating here, strategically there are big institutions ranging from airbase, army cantonment, BSF, CRPF, SSB, SAF battalions.

Electricity and water: new substations are being built

Gwalior Chambal has ample infrastructure for industry. Uninterrupted power supply is available for industry. New substations are being built by the power transmission company here. Apart from this, there is no shortage of water in Gwalior. There has never been a shortage of water for the present industrial areas in the past.

We will bring in large scale investments and will also promote those who are already working

The investor summits that we started at different divisional levels are getting regional support. The popularity of the summit is also increasing from the entire country and state and its results are also coming. We are fully confident that the investor summit to be held in Gwalior will bring in large scale investments and will also encourage the investors who are already working so that they can expand their work further. They can produce better products and export them from the state to outside. Gwalior has adequate means of air, road and rail connectivity. Due to which there are facilities for businessmen to come to Gwalior. Especially in the field of defense, there is a ravine area, there will be good development in it, the activity of Chambal Expressway has also increased, it is expected that the summit will lead to good development of the area.
