Navdunia Representative, Sagar: A student of Gopalganj police station area committed suicide by hanging himself after getting upset due to debt incurred due to online games. The student has also left a suicide note before hanging himself, in which he has mentioned wasting the money taken from family for studies in online games. Police has started investigation by registering a case in the matter.

20-year-old Lokendra of Panna’s Raipura was a BA final year student in the university and lived on rent in Ramjhiriya. Lokendra’s maternal uncle’s son Pushpendra also lived with him. On Sunday, Lokendra went to sleep after having dinner as usual. In the morning, when Lokendra’s maternal uncle’s son Pushpendra woke up, Lokendra was not on the bed.

Pushpendra thought that Lokendra must have gone out to have tea. Thinking this, he went to the toilet, after which he went to the kitchen next to the room and saw Lokendra hanging from the fan hook with a white towel tied around it. Pushpendra immediately informed the house owner about this.

After this, the landlord told other people in the neighborhood and informed the police. The police reached the spot and inspected the scene of the incident. After preparing the Panchnama of the dead body, the body was taken down from the noose and sent to the district hospital for postmortem. After getting the information, the family members of the deceased also came to Sagar from Raipura, where after the postmortem, they took the body to their village.

A suicide note was also found near the deceased, in which Pushpendra wrote that his family should forgive him. In the last two years, he wasted a lot of their money in the name of studies. After coming to Sagar for studies, he got addicted to playing games on the internet, in which he has lost a lot of money.

In the suicide note he has told his father and uncle that he could not become a good man and after coming here he fell into bad habits, due to which I am taking this step.

The only son

Lokendra’s father is a farmer. Lokendra was the only son of his parents. He also has a sister who lives in the village. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
