The price of mawa is expected to increase even more in retail. Due to increased demand for sweets during the festival, the demand for mawa also becomes very high in the market, due to which the price of mawa also increases.

On Saturday, the arrival of onion in Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Holkar (Choithram) wholesale market decreased to 40 thousand sacks. Due to the demand for Rakshabandhan, the prices of onion and potato strengthened. Super onion was sold at the upper price of Rs. 3300. Golta onion was also sold at the upper price of Rs. 2900.

Potato was sold at the top price of Rs 2500. The arrival of potatoes is eight thousand sacks. The price of garlic remained between Rs 17000 and Rs 22500.
