The team of Lokayukta Police on Wednesday started investigation in the case of disproportionate assets by conducting raids at the residence of a government employee working in Vallabh Bhawan in Sant Hirdaram Nagar (Bairagarh). Lokayukta police is not allowing anyone to enter.

According to the information received, raid action has been taken on the bungalow of Ramesh Hingorani, Assistant Grade-1 in the Technical Education Department of the Education Secretariat located at Satpura Bhawan. Lokayukta had received a complaint against Ramesh Hingorani for acquiring assets beyond his income. Six teams of Lokyukta started investigation at his residence and two schools located in Gandhi Nagar.
Lokayukta DSP Sanjay Shukla said that some documents have also been found in two schools of Gandhinagar. The investigation is being done on the basis of complaint of disproportionate assets. Some documents have been seized. The jewelery is also being assessed. A case has been registered and the matter is being investigated.
According to sources, documents of movable and immovable property worth crores of rupees have been found from the premises of the accused. Along with this, a huge quantity of gold and diamond jewelery has been found.

The Lokayukta team is still investigating at the residence of accused government employee Ramesh Hingorani at Nirmal Nursery, Laxman Nagar Colony. The police team has also started investigation at the residence of Ramesh’s son. Lokayukta police team raided Bairagarh at 5:00 am on Wednesday.
Runs a school in Gandhinagar
According to the information, accused Ramesh Hingorani is the director of Lakshmi Devi Vikyomal Saraf School and Prerna School of Gandhinagar. These schools are being operated for a long time. Ramesh’s two sons also serve in these schools. During the raid, documents were also scrutinized in the school offices.
