The tribal women living in Mau appealed to the Chief Minister, the women of Mau village had gone to the MLA regarding the electricity problem, the MLA said that they were attacked, false allegations are being made

Naiduniya representative, Gwalior. Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the case of assault on Dalit women by Congress MLA from Gwalior Rural, Sahab Singh Gurjar. The Commission has sought an investigation report from the Gwalior Superintendent of Police in 15 days in this case and has also directed the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Company to submit an investigation report regarding the availability of electricity on Mau Pahadi in 15 days.

The special thing is that the electricity company officials are not even aware of the electricity problem for which the tribal-Dalit women had come to MLA Gurjar’s place for the fifth time. The manager of the concerned zone says that the matter came to light only when the MLA called on Monday, that is, the day of the incident.

Let us tell you that on Monday, Dalit tribal women from Mau Pahadi near DD Nagar had reached the office of Congress MLA Sahab Singh Gurjar demanding installation of a transformer. Here the women told the MLA about the problem and after this the MLA got angry and beat up the women by holding their hair.

The woman Munni Lodhi said that the MLA did this after hearing that the work was not done even after casting the vote. After this, the University Police Station registered a case of assault and indecency against the MLA late in the evening. The police is investigating.

We have no complaints from the past – Electricity Company

After the controversy over the installation of a transformer on Mau hill, AE Nitish Singh of O&M Circle (rural area) Murar area said that we have not received any complaint regarding this matter. The residents living on the hill also did not meet us. We came to know about the matter when we received a call from the rural MLA.

We asked them to make a proposal. However, Mau village is already electrified. These people live on the hill and are demanding that a transformer be installed there.
