Trains are being parked on the outer tracks for hours waiting for the platform to be vacated. Due to this, the pressure of trains and passengers is constantly increasing on the station.

Because of this, many trains are not taken to the platform on time, but are parked on the outer tracks. This is the situation everyday. To solve this problem, Jabalpur Railway Division is going to increase the number of platforms at the main railway station. Two new platforms will be built here, which will be built towards the main building of the station (platform one).
Actually, the Railway Board has a proposal to make Jabalpur Railway Station world-class, in which changes are being made continuously. First the design of the main building of Jabalpur Railway Station was changed and then changes were made in the parking. Along with this, now two new platforms will be built, so that the increasing pressure of trains can be reduced. At present there are six platforms here. There is an A1 platform at Jabalpur station, where trains coming from Itarsi can be taken.
The Railway Minister has given verbal consent to the proposal to make Jabalpur Railway Station world-class, written consent will also be received soon. Two new platforms for 24 coaches
Two new platforms will be built towards platform one of the main railway station, after which platform one will become platform number three. Platform A one will be extended towards Katni. For this, a large part of the main building currently built has to be demolished.

After demolishing it, A1 station will be built for 24 coach trains, which will be platform number two. Platform number one will be outside the main building. The railway quarters built here will also be demolished to expand the parking. It is possible that railway guest houses Neelambari and Shwetambari can also be demolished.
Now multi-level car parking will not be built
To make the main railway station world class, the main design made by the architect has been changed more than 20 times. Not only this, the proposal is stuck with the Railway Board for approval for one year. First the assembly elections, then the Lok Sabha elections and now the Railway Board is busy with the expansion of the railway project.
