The gangster who had spread terror by shooting Neeraj Rana in the chest is still absconding, police is searching for him. Two accused were nabbed near Chambal Dhaba.
Naiduniya representative, Gwalior: Police has arrested Sanjay Jat and Anoop Jat, henchmen of gangster Vikram Rana, who spread terror by shooting Neeraj Rana in the chest 24 days ago near Lal Tipra Gaushala in Murar area. Both of them were passing near Chambal Dhaba on the highway when the police caught them. Vikram is still absconding. Police took out a procession of these people at the place where they spread terror by firing bullets.
There is a rivalry between Neeraj Rana, resident of Bhind and Anoop Jat, resident of village Badera. On August 21, Anoop threatened Neeraj over the phone, then called him to meet. When Neeraj reached near Laltipara Gaushala with his two friends, Vikram Rana came first in a car. He threatened Neeraj, by then his henchmen Anoop Jat, Sanjay Rana and Gajendra alias Gantra Kori arrived.
As soon as they arrived, they started firing. One bullet hit Neeraj in the chest. The accused were absconding since the incident. In-charge SP Rakesh Kumar Sagar had announced a reward on the accused. The SP deputed Murar police station in-charge Madan Mohan Malviya, crime branch in-charge Ajay Pawar, SI Rajiv Solanki and his team to search for the accused. After 24 days, their location was found near Chambal Dhaba. Sanjay and Anoop were arrested by laying siege here. Then the police took them to the crime scene on foot.
