Naiduniya, Umaria News. Dr. Rajendra Majhi, posted at Manpur Community Health Center, has been caught red-handed while taking a bribe of three thousand rupees. The team of Lokayukta Rewa has taken this action. Lokayukta SP Gopal Singh Dhakad said that the accused had demanded Rs 10,000 from the complainant Virendra Yadav, resident of village Chilhari tehsil Manpur, for preparing the post mortem report of his nephew. After this the matter was settled for six thousand rupees.

When this matter was verified by Gopal Singh Dhakad, Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta Division, Rewa, it came to light that in reality the accused Dr. Rajendra Manjhi had taken three thousand rupees from the complainant and was asking him to give three thousand more.

As per the plan, on Wednesday afternoon Virendra Yadav went to Dr. Majhi with three thousand rupees and gave him that amount. Lokayukta had already applied chemical. As soon as Dr. Rajendra Majhi took the money, the Lokayukta team raided and arrested the doctor red-handed. A 12-member team including trap team members Pramendra Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent Rajesh Khede has taken action.
