Shikhil Byohar, Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has given instructions to complete the construction works within the time limit with quality. He said that if this is not done then be ready for action. He told this to the officers during the review of proposed and ongoing projects.
In fact, Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla reviewed the work plan of the Health and Medical Department as per the financial provision of the financial year 2024-25 in the ministry and the construction works in progress. He also reviewed the various stages of upgradation and strengthening along with new construction works of medical colleges, health institutions, nursing colleges and other health institutions. During this, he directed that all the activities should be completed with quality within the time limit. There should be no delay in the work due to lack of formalities.

Total projects of 3 thousand 555 construction work
The Deputy Chief Minister has asked to outline the necessary subjects to be coordinated with the Center. So that they can be resolved quickly by discussing at the central level. At present, 3 thousand 555 construction works are provisioned and in progress under the Health and Medical Education Department. Out of these, 2 thousand 782 are being done by the Health and Medical Education Department, 72 by M.P. Building Development Corporation, 17 by Public Works Department, 263 by M.P. Housing Board, 385 by PIU, 34 by M.P. Police Housing, 2 by Bridge and Roof.

Ensure timely recruitment process
The Deputy CM reviewed the progress of the recruitment process for the posts in the Health and Medical Education Department and directed to ensure the recruitment process within the time limit. Additional Chief Secretary Health and Medical Education Mo. Suleman, Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education Vivek Kumar Porwal, MD NHM Priyanka Das, Commissioner Medical Education Tarun Pithode, Additional Secretary Medical Education Pankaj Jain along with representatives of the construction department and senior departmental officials were present in this meeting.
