Naiduniya Representative, Gwalior: A fire bullet has been found on the south runway of Gwalior Air Terminal adjacent to Maharajpura Air Base. This is a two and a half centimeter long and two centimeter wide bullet. Even before this, fragments of metallic bullets have been found in aircraft operating areas. The Air Force Station has expressed serious concern after the incident of finding metallic fire bullets.

After this bullet was found on October 2, a report was sent to the district administration by the Wing Commander of the Air Force reporting the incident. It was told that there is civilian population around the Runway-6 area station perimeter. This material found in the aircraft operating area is dangerous for humans, aircraft and other materials used in it. In this report, a demand was made to ban harsh fire within a radius of one kilometer from the Air Force station.

In view of this, District Magistrate Ruchika Chauhan issued orders on Wednesday to ban Harsh Fire in the entire revenue limit of the district including one kilometer radius. Let us tell you that pieces of metallic bullets have already been found in the Air Force station premises, information about which was given to the district administration. Earlier too, restrictive orders have been issued by the administration.

The order said that many civilian and military groups conduct their operations here. Most of the villages are located near the new airport terminal and such incidents can pose a threat to human life. On behalf of the Collector, under the powers granted in Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023, in view of the safety of the aircraft and the materials used at the Air Force Station-Civil Airport and the safety of life and property of the citizens of Gwalior along with the military team, Harsh Fire Is completely banned. Despite this restriction, in special circumstances, the decision regarding exemption-relaxation can be taken by the district administration in a specific case.
