Budget for infrastructure development to Madhya Pradesh in the financial year 2024-25.

50 crore rupees are being received from the budget for Mahakal Ropeway in Ujjain. For this year, Rs 750 crore has been sanctioned under Setu Bandhan Yojana. Loan amount can be increased to Rs 1 lakh under PM Swanidhi Yojana.
State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is expected to get Rs 10,500 crore for infrastructure development in the financial year 2024-25. Out of this, Rs 9,750 crore will be available for national highway projects. Public Works Department officials said that the central government has given priority to infrastructure development. A provision of Rs 11.11 lakh crore has been made for this.
60 crores for multi-modal logistics park
A provision of long-term interest-free loan of Rs 1.5 lakh crore has been made for the states for infrastructure development. The Mohan government has started preparations for the Simhastha to be held in the year 2029.
Ujjain Mahakal Ropeway is being built to facilitate movement of devotees. A provision of Rs 50 crore has been made in the budget for this. Similarly, Rs 60 crore has been kept for the multi-model logistics park being developed in Pithampur.
The state will get Rs 750 crore
Under the Central Road Fund, Rs 750 crore will be given in this financial year for the approval of Rs 3,000 crore for other projects including flyovers under the Setu Bandhan Yojana.
Similarly, an estimated provision of Rs 9,750 crore has been made for various projects related to Bharatmala, Parvatmala, Expressway and National Highways. Rs 250 crore has been allocated for the maintenance of roads.
Work keeping in mind the provisions of the Union Budget: Dr. Mohan
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave several instructions to the officials in the state budget review meeting convened on Tuesday in the context of the Union Budget. He said that in the Union Budget, special emphasis has been laid on infrastructure, panchayat and rural development and other areas.
Work keeping its provisions in mind. Its full benefit should be taken. Metropolitan city development work is being done in Bhopal and Indore. Make efforts to cut down expenses and increase income.
The Chief Minister said that no stone should be left unturned in the fields of health, water, industry and education. Natural and organic farming should be promoted. Try to get maximum funds from the central government under the water resources department. Capital expenditure should be increased and revenue expenditure should be reduced. All ministers should review their departments.
Loan amount can be up to Rs 1 lakh under PM Swanidhi Yojana
Under the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, a loan of up to one lakh rupees can now be obtained from the bank. The government currently provides loans of up to 50 thousand rupees in three phases to street vendors on its guarantee. There has been a suggestion to provide up to one lakh rupees to those who return the loan amount on time. While reviewing the scheme, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that a decision will be taken after considering providing loans up to one lakh rupees for expansion of employment.
The central government has awarded
Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana in the state, an amount of Rs 21 crore has been made available to 12 lakh 34 thousand 707 people in three years through banks. The government also gives interest subsidy on this. The central government has also rewarded the state for the implementation of the scheme.
Madhya Pradesh is at the first place in the country by constructing 7.89 lakh houses against the target of constructing 9.9 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban. One lakh 60 thousand houses are being completed by the end of this year. It was told in the meeting that 72 thousand 965 kilometers of roads have been constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Madhya Pradesh is at the second place in the country in the work of constructing Amrit Sarovar.
